Hello! My name is Johanna Sanchez. I am a graduate of Utah Valley University. I have been a teacher for six years, going on seven this coming school year. I have taught 5th and 6th grades - the upper grades definitely have my heart! When I am not in the classroom, I soak in as much time as I can with my husband and two-year-old toddler, as well as my dog Remington. I enjoy dinners with my extended family, trying new recipes, and exercising.
I am a teacher because I absolutely love the relationships I get to build with my students every year. I enjoy providing a safe space for my students to make mistakes, learn, and grow academically and personally.
