Hello! My name is Mindy Valdez. I am the proud mother of 4 amazing children, 3 of which have married and have since made me a proud Nana to 7 beautifully rambunctious grandkids. My favorite time is anytime spent with my family playing games or just hanging out. My husband and I have been married 31 years and are settling nicely into the empty-nesters stage. We love movie nights in our his and hers recliners.
I have been working for Jordan School District since the 2006-2007 school year. I started as a kindergarten assistant at Welby Elementary and then moved to Rose Creek Elementary mid-way through the year to help start the reading program there. I have been working as a Literacy Assistant for 14 years. I love working with students and seeing them progress into great readers. Reading is my passion! I always have a book that I am reading and love sharing this passion with the students that I am fortunate to work with.
