I'm Natalie Sellers. I'm from a little town in California called Placerville. I love to travel with my wonderful obnoxious family, sing show tunes off-key, and read everything I can get my hands on. In the summer, you can usually find me hiking, playing volleyball, swimming at the lake, or carrying stacks of books to and from the library. I studied Special Education at BYU-Idaho, and it has been the best decision of my life.
I am a teacher because learning opens the doors to the rest of the world. There are so many experiences that come from learning about the world and how it works. My favorite moments are when I see a student make a real connection with something new and then apply it to their world. They light up when things make a little more sense, or they can connect to something previously out of reach. Those are the moments that keep me coming back to school each year. It also happens to be the most fun thing I've ever done. 🙂
