I’ve taught 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade predominantly in a Title I school. I also worked as an elementary Mathematics Specialist before moving into administration. As you can imagine, I have a passion for carefully crafted instruction in a collaborative environment that enables students to develop deep understanding and connect mathematical ideas and concepts. I worked as an assistant principal at Hayden Peak and Jordan Ridge Elementaries before being appointed as principal of Rose Creek Elementary.
My husband and I raised our family in West Jordan and I love the area. We have three children, all married, and six grandchildren. Our favorite get-away is playing on our Sea-Doos at Bear Lake.
I find joy in working with children, families and staff members. More importantly, though, I hope I bring joy to you because you are why I’m here!
