Hello! My name is Jade Stevens, and I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade at Antelope Canyon! I was born and raised in Utah with my parents, two brothers, and two sisters. I attended Utah Valley University, where I received a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. I have always wanted to be a teacher, ever since I was a little girl and am thrilled to be living out my dream!
Along with teaching, I love… my bunny, Lady Jezzabelle, riding horses, rock climbing, hiking, driving my Camaro, listening to music, spending time with friends and family and enjoying some apple juice, crumb doughnuts, or ice-cream. I love to explore and learn new things, which I am constantly doing as I learn and grow alongside each of my students throughout the year.
To me, teaching is a gift and blessing in my life. It allows me to do what I love while making a positive and meaningful impact on each of my wonderful students. I strive to create an enjoyable, welcoming, safe environment where we can learn and explore as a team. I believe in building positive relationships. As well as aiding every student, no matter where they are at, to reach their goals and feel confident with themselves and their abilities to apply their learned knowledge and skills. I look forward to getting to know you and your students and making this year a good one!
