Hi, my name is Meredith Olson. I was born and raised in Utah. I have an Associates degree from SLCC, and Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from BYU. To earn money for Grad School, I started substitute teaching and realized that education was my place. I went back to school and earned my teaching certification. I've now been teaching for over ten years. I've taught 5th, 3rd, and 6th grade and have loved all of them. I love music, movies, stories/storytelling (video, book, or any form), and being creative. I also love to learn about countries, cultures, how to create art, and the universe. Well, basically... I just love to learn about new things and how they work. All of which make teaching 6th grade a plus!
I wanted to become a teacher to help kids. I never want them to think that they are unable to do something. They may not be the best at it, but they are smart and capable of doing more than they even realize. I love to be able to help students find their jam and how to make things work for the way they learn.
