Hi, I'm Alison Wilkins, and I am excited to join the Antelope Canyon staff this year. I worked as a Reading/Classroom Assistant for 5 years at Fox Hollow Elementary. I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. The four years I worked as a Social Worker were so rewarding for me as I helped improve situations for children. I stopped working and became a social worker for my own family. When my youngest son started 1st grade, I was again given the opportunity to work with children. It has been so rewarding to work with these amazing students that need some extra help in their reading progression.
I am married to an amazing man, and together we are raising 3 kids, all of which are currently in their teenage years. We also have a little Yorkie dog named Groot! As a family, we love to take road trips to new and exciting places. I am a National Parks junkie and plan our vacations around them. I love hiking and bike riding. I enjoy gardening in the summer and puzzles in the winter. I also enjoy reading a good book and watching a great movie.
I look forward to making connections with the students as we work together to help them succeed in their educational paths.
