Hello! My name is Cindy Wiggins. I enjoy working with young people and love to see them grow. This is my second year teaching in the Learning Lab. My passion for teaching started early as a dance student growing up in Twin Falls, ID. I attended BYU on a Dance scholarship, and after I got married, started my dance studio, Dance by Cindy Wiggins, in Taylorsville, UT. As my studio grew, I upgraded the name to EXTRAVADANCE and bought my own building in West Jordan, UT. Teaching dance was my passion.
After owning and operating a dance studio for 36 years, I retired but wanted to continue working with children. I had a chance to begin working part-time for Jordan School District and enjoy it tremendously. I am mom to three wonderful married sons and grandmother to 7 grandchildren, 5 girls and 2 boys. I love travel, football, and Disneyland. There is nothing better than a family trip to Disneyland or Disney World! I feel a huge responsibility to help children learn, grow, and achieve their goals. Some students struggle academically or may have physical limitations. I feel that with patience, respect, and encouragement they can be successful in all phases of their lives.
