I grew up in Washington state, and earned my Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Washington in Seattle. My primary instrument is the flute, but I technically know how to play them all. I enjoy eating yummy food, traveling the world, hiking, and of course attending musical performances! My husband Mr. Elliot plays trombone in the Utah Symphony. I love getting to hear him play, especially when he plays Star Wars movies! I am passionate about working with young people. One of my favorite things about my job is that in the same day I can be silly with my youngest students and dive deep into music with my older students. I love being a teacher because watching kids learn, grow, and discover themselves is as magical as making music together. Let’s have a wonderful year!
