Stephanie Saunders | Fourth Grade

Hello! My name is Stephanie Saunders, and I am so excited to be on the fourth-grade team at Antelope Canyon Elementary! This will be my 8th year teaching and my fourth time teaching 4th grade! I am so excited to team-teach with Mrs. Clayton. We have known each other for a long time and we have the same philosophy and passion for teaching!

I got my undergraduate degree and English as a Second Language endorsement from Southern Utah University. Then I got my master’s degree in Curriculum Design and Instruction from Western Governors University. Right now, I am working on my reading endorsement! I love learning! Being in the classroom brings me so much joy. I love seeing my students grow academically and personally throughout the year. It makes me so proud to see them become a better version of themselves! In my classroom, every day is a new day to learn, laugh, and to be loved. I view my classroom as a family and we get the chance to help each other become better every single day.

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my husband watching movies and playing games and learning new skills! I teach because I want to help my students gain confidence and understanding, not only in academics but in social situations and their own personal image.
